NextGen Research Program
The NextGen Research Program is an interactive initiative designed for young researchers in pediatrics. It consists of three distinct modules:
Module I and Module II are part of the NextGen Research Day, which takes place on June 10th 2026 in Lausanne.
Module III is held separately during the pädiatrie schweiz meeting on June 11th and June 12th 2026, in Lausanne.

NextGen Research Day: June 10th 2026, Lausanne
Participants of the NextGen Research Day can choose between Module I or Module II.
Module I: How to develop a research project
This Module is ideal for those who are starting their first research project or have a fictitious research idea. In the morning, participants will engage in two interactive workshops led by experienced experts, focusing on methodology and presentation skills.
Module II: How to lead a research project
This Module is tailored for individuals who have successfully initiated a research project and seek guidance on advancing their work. In the morning, participants will attend a comprehensive workshop led by a leading expert, choosing from two relevant topics.

Module III: Research Presentation: June 11th / June 12th 2026 in Lausanne
Participation in Module III, which involves presenting research at the annual pädiatrie schweiz conference, is optional and not required for those attending Modules I or II. This module features the NextGen Instagram Session and the NextGen Podcast Session. Participants are invited to submit abstracts to showcase their research in either of these innovative formats.
